Project Goals
The aim of the project was to showcase the archaeological heritage of the Lublin region, focusing on artifacts richly adorned with zoomorphic patterns. As part of the project, a film was produced that presents the wide range of work completed and the experiences resulting from the collaboration between the National Museum in Lublin and the Museum of Cultural History in Oslo. A website was also created, serving as an extensive virtual exhibition featuring 3D models and visualizations of digitally scanned and reconstructed artifacts.

3D Reconstructions of Artifacts
Artifacts scanned by the team from the National Museum in Lublin were then digitally reconstructed. The foundation of this work was archaeological documentation. Often, to reconstruct artifacts that were only partially preserved, it was necessary to use analogies—findings from the same period that were stylistically similar but preserved in larger fragments. The entire process was carried out in close coordination with the museum team.
Mobile Exhibition
As part of the project, a mobile exhibition was created, featuring replicas of the artifacts. These replicas were produced using resin 3D printing techniques by the Druxpol3D team, who collaborated on the project. The resin prints were then painted to visually resemble the original artifacts and were mounted by the National Museum in Lublin team as part of the mobile exhibition, complete with full scholarly content.
